Theme: Health problems

Aim: to enrich pupil’s knowledge about Health problem; to enlarge their interest in learning foreign languages and to introduce the pupils with new words and give them more information. to develop pupils` abilities in speaking, writing, reading, listening skills. to motivate the students` interest in learning English, to create individual work, pair work, work in groups; to respect foreign languages.

Visual aid: presentation, posters, A4 papers, pictures, cards, proverbs.

Listening

-        You should listen a dialog and write miss words

Ex 1. Listen a dialog, and

write miss words. (individual work)

Dialog  “A visit to the doctor”

 

Writing

-         You should remember Present Simple and Present Continuous Tense. What differences between them. (individual work)

Ex 11 p 88 Complete the sentences with the verb in the Present Continuous or Present

-        And now children, we are going to make a dialog about our theme health problems. I’ll give you 5 min.  (differentiated tasks)

Ex 3 make a dialog (pair work)

 

 

Children listen the dialog and

Each pupil take 2 sentences and find right Tense.

VI.            Warm up

Teacher switch on the song

 “If you’re healthy”

 

-         You should listen a short story and draw in a poster.

Ex 4 walking in a gallery

-         I’ll read the short story you should draw the story in correct order. (work in group)

Children sing a song and do movement

 

 

 

Children draw, what their understand. Then change their posters with other posters and

give their comments and marks.

VII.         Conclusion

-        You should find a good advice for each problem.

-        Ask and answer (Yes or no)

Pupils take papers with advice and match  to the problem.

 

Children listen the sentences and answer yes or no.

VIII.     Reflection

-        Today we di good and hard  work.

-         Choose the green basket if you understand all lesson.

-         Choose the yellow basket if you don’t understand some parts of lesson

-         Choose the red basket if you don’t understand main part of the lesson

-         Please take your fruit and put into basket, which you like

Children take their fruit and put into the basket which they choose.

IX.            Giving home

work

-        Make a crossword with using words health problems in A4 paper. With pictures.
